Taxodium distichum planted at Weston Park, Black Mountain Peninsula and Nerang Pool according to lakeburleygriffinguardians.org.au.

It's a well established tree and the only one I can see in the area. I'm honestly not sure. I'm leaning towards accidental planting.

Thanks Ozza - we have yet to have a naturalised record of Bald Cypress in the ACT, but does seem to be a potential weed of our water edges.
