Also formerly included in Potamogeton tricarinatus. Its leaves are 4-8 cm long, whlie those of cheesemanii are 2.5-5 cm long. I used the key in Vicflora. https://vicflora.rbg.vic.gov.au/flora/key/1963

I didn't take a proper measurement, but the biggest leaves were no larger than 5cm from memory.
