John - the Eastern Billabongfly is slightly smaller than a Common Bluetail, and note the two black notches in the blue patches on the final abdominal segments, the narrow banding on the abdominal segments, the slightly greenish tinge to the humeral stripe on the thorax, and the bar on the back of the head (rather than two spots).
