The local cypress pine is Callitris endlicheri. However, if it was planted, there are several other possibilities.

Hi. There are about 25 through the area. Non were planted - all have grown natural in the past 10 years. I wasn't aware there was a natural Cyprus!

Black Callitris Pine is a dominant species within the ACT along parts of the Murrumbidgee River and at Molonglo Gorge

A lot were destroyed along the river in the bush fires of 2003, but they are coming back thicker than before.
