There isn't enough detail showing to be certain about the identity of this bee. I think Amegilla asserta is slightly more likely as A. chlorocyanea usually has a slight notch in the last complete hair band.

The bees were flying too fast and only stopped at the flowers for an instant, so difficult to get any better photos, but I can keep trying. I did not know there were several species of blue banded bees!

The bees fly fast alright. I will have to check my photos to see if I have even captured one. If so, I will post it.
