I accidentally hit the wrong button the first time. The common subspecies in Canberra is lasiophylla in fact, but without a photo showing the hairs on the backs of the leaves, cannot actually be confirmed.

hi there the Bursaria I find on Mt Majura are the local B spinosa subsp lasiophylla so if the specimen hasn't been planted I would think it is the subsp lasiophylla; if it can't be confirmed from photos I'd say Bursaria sp.
