This mushroom lacks the skirt-like partial veil remnant around the stem (e.g. see http://canberranaturemap.org/Community/Sightings/Details/3343354) and in one photo you see what might be a coloured ring around the base of the stem, absent in Amanita muscaria but present, for example, in Amanita xanthocephala (see http://www.cpbr.gov.au/fungi/images-captions/amanita-xanthocephala-0015.html)
