Author's notes

Leaves were 1cm tall and 1-5cm in diameter. Plants were often grouped. For example, in a 30x30cm there were 17 plants. I estimate about 100-500 plants. About 20% of the plants had a short <2cm tall stalk.

I think that's Corysanthes. They appear (to me) too rounded for Acianthus.

I suppose you might be right Cath. The veins in photo 2 look like Acianthus.
