I am away at the moment and need to consult Theischinger's dragonfly book. Have you tried his keys and images: very easy to use.

There is also Theischinger's 2009 online Identification guide to the Australian Odonata - http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/resources/publications/09730AustOdonata.pdf - which has good diagnostic keys and better maps than Theischinger & Hawking's book.
