Ryu as far as I know this is only the second time this plant has been recorded in Canberra. the other was by Rosemary Purdie in 2013 in the CSIRO part of Black Mountain. It is a weed of coastal NSW and maybe one of our new "climate change" weeds. Could you please pull it out by hand.

I pulled it out this morning, but the roots broke off- much too well anchored by the roots of the casurina behind it- at least it won't be seeding this season

Thanks Ryu - much appreciated - I don't think that it is one that suckers from roots
