Callistemon citrinus? Single spindly plant, approx. 2 metres tall. Sitting next to fence just above Gowrie Drive. Exact location might be slightly off.

Thanks Roy - interesting record that has me wondering whether it was part of the historic Charles Weston 1917 plantings of this species, a later planting or plant that has self seeded, but it is several hundred metres from nearest known plantings.

Yeah quite interesting, its survived despite the competition from the local pine trees and obvious road development. Makes me wonder if there were more at the site at an earlier stage...???
