To tell Xanthorrhoea apart we need close up of the flowering spike and the arrangement of individual flowering parts within spike

Keith McDougall, the expert from the Office of Environment and Heritage, Queanbeyan, has confirmed that the trunkless Xanthorrhoea at Bungonia is concava.
