More likely to be Xerochrysum bracteatum at this time of year. The leaves are of a width that it could be either. Were the leaves sticky (Xerochrysum).or rough (Xerochrysum bracteatum)?

They are shiny and feel more sticky than rough. I will upload a third photo which should at least show their shininess if that helps
