Yes it's a wave moth, family Geometridae. Maybe the 'Flecked Wave', Idaea philocosma, going by 'Moths of Victoria, Part 3: Waves, carpets and allies, Geometroidea (C) (Geometridae-Larentiinae & Sterrhinae)', by P. Marriott (Entomological Society of Victoria, 2011).
