Pity the photos are out of focus. D. chryseopsis is the earliest of the Diuris to flower but this is still very early. I'm not familiar with the locality, where is Kinleyside?

Sorry abought the photo I'm still learning how to use the GPS facilitated camera. Aaron golden moths are quite widespread but tend to be found in woodland areas. Tony - Kinlyside is to become a nature reserve (it is still under rural lease) it is a 200 ha block of woodland immediately to the west of Casey and to the south-east of One Tree Hill.

Do we have a date for when it becomes a reserve? I have been on the site a few times (with permission) and there are a couple of things I'd like to be able to report.

Matt Kinlyside has already been declared a Nature Reserve as part of the Gungahlin Strategic assessment. However, one of the key values of the reserve is that it is habitat of the Golden Sun Moth. Maintenance of this habitat requires grazing, hence the current leasee and his sheep will remain on the reserve and permission must be obtained from the lease to enter this reserve.
