A beautiful patch dissected by Hackett houses track behind Mackenzie Street. There are rocky outcrops, Clustered and Sticky Everlastings, Daviesia genistifolia and other low growing shrubs amongst Blakelyi Red Gums. Over the past years Friends of Mt Majura removed many Cootamundra wattles and other woody weeds from this area and tackled a large patch of Prickly pear, Opuntia stricta.
Friends of Mt Majura are doing a great job. Are you sure these are var. albicans and not var. tricolour? There is a difference in conservation status in some places. I don't know what has happened to the EPBC Act proposal to remove protection for varieties.
