Jack definitely looks like Potentilla recta - but without flower I can't be positive will try to get a second opinion and get back to you as soon as I can as Potentilla is a nasty that would be good to jump on as soon as we can

David Albrecht of the CSIRO herbarium advises that "The photographed plant looks to be a good vegetative match with specimens of Potentilla recta in the herbarium." Would be good to control this infestation if it is not to large as this is a significant weed elsewhere

Quite a large infestation in the region of 50 to 100 plants, being a weed spraying contractor I'll be sure too handle it
Thanks for the help Michael

Hi Michael. We had this species listed as a common native. I changed it to exotic. But if it should be listed as a noxious weed, then further action is required.

Thanks to both of - flowers confirm ID and I'll change to noxious weed
