I would assume this is C. incurva. Did you see any little "crispy" bits at the kink in any of the leaves? C. incurva has just finished flowering, so that is all that remains.

No, there was no sign of spent flowers. I thought they had a fresh look of something just emerging and yet to flower. Size between 5 and 10 cent coin.

That sounds about right. The plants would have finished flowering a few weeks ago. Based on my observations, the flowers proceed to disappear at an alarming rate leaving little to no trace they ever existed. Still, it's a good find. There are only a small handful of known colonies in the ACT.

Despite the lack of flowers I've confirmed this on the basis that I have seen flowering plants there previously, and I can't think what else it could be.
