Julie I have been puzzling over this one for a few weeks. I think it may be pale pipewort Eriocaulon scariosum, can you confirm if you also think that this is what this plant is. Thanks Michael

Hi Michael thanks I had no idea what it was and it wasn't in my book on water plants. Having now looked it up on NSW Flora I am sure you are right..
