I went back to this location earlier this month and can confirm that most of the large ferns had now died off, but there were still a few young/small ones going well.

Climbing cliffs, or any such unstable slope, can result in injury. I have seen it happen, and the consequence is often far greater than the reward. Please be careful, Aaron.
Good to see it's still there after so many years. It used to grow in the lower part of the quarry, along with Bracken, Common Maidenhair, and Cyathea australis, but a bushfire in the 1980s rather ruined the area.
