Author's notes

The flower had two of these flies landing on it frequently but briefly as it was windy. Not certain if it was a pollinator.

Great photo thanks Peter - I gather gnats like this do pollinate this group - Tony is this likely to be a pollinator and has it been attracted to the orchid because of a pheromone produced by the plant?
