Are both present in the ACT? @galah681 suggests there are both, but only one is in the CNM list and the other is in iNaturalist.

@galah681 Thanks. I'm not aware of this other species and it is not listed in the species list on CNM. I'll leave it to more expert persons.

These beetles were about 1/3 the size of the Greater St John's beetle (4705570) that I posted so I thought they might be the lesser St John's wort beetle - Chrysolina hyperici.

There are huge number of these beetles this year. Thy are skeletonising St John's wort, but there is still plenty left to eat.
