How do you know it’s actually pollinating the flower?

I can't see any claim that it is, just the correct answer to the question 'Pollinator Insect on Flower'

For the field "Insect behaviour on flower" I put "Feeding on nectar or pollen" as the butterflies were returning to the flowers repeatedly for the 30-minutes that I observed them and I could see their proboscis extended into the flowers.
