I think this is Hygrocybe miniata based on the yellowish gills which seems to distinguish it from similar red species of Hygrocybe. See A Field Guide to Australian Fungi by Bruce Fuhrer P88. The site wont allow me to suggest a new species.
There are a few yellow(ish)-gilled red Hygrocybes. Some still seem to be known from very limited locations, which of course need not reflect their actual distribution.
