Very decorative. Did you see the caterpillar that made it? Can you take it into protective custody until a moth emerges. I would really like the confirmation of what the moth looks like before pronouncing on it. If a photo of this caterpillar was in a previous sighting, it would be better to add this photo to that sighting rather than have it separately.

The caterpillar is in Nearby sightings but I will link them later. I wondered about adding the pupa record to the caterpillar one but that messes with dates so i thought it would be better seeing it in the Timeline. I should have the moth in a week or so. I have about a dozen pupae in captivity and there are many more hidden in the garden.

Caterpillar shown in earlier sighting https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4363974. It might not be the same caterpillar but is brother/sister/cousin from same plant.
