Several purplish fruiting bodies about 6-8 cm across. Photo 4 is a dry, upside-down uprooted one. Interspersed with another fungi species (separate sighting).
It seems that in Species Fungorum and Mycobank databases both Calvatia lilacina and Calvatia cyathiformis are considered legitimate names. I don't know what the supposed differences between these species are.
