I don't know about this one, the stem hairs are appressed and not recurved as in G.gardneri. However, I'm unwilling to re ID Betty's photos.

I sent this photo on to Jackie Miles, who has a lot more experience with G. gardneri than I. It is common where she does her field work. She agrees with you, that it is not Geranium gardneri because the hairs are not recurved. She thinks it is G. potentilloides.
