Status: Introduced.

 

Size: Grows from 25 to 65 cm and weights from 0.3 to 3 kg.

 

Description: Dark green to brown colour to the back with pale mottling. Red spots along the flanks with blue halos. Fins are reddish and often edged in white.

Location: Populations sustained by stocking in several impoundments and waterways in the CNM area.
