It doesn't match BOLD specimens https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=53553 which are all recorded as Northern Australia

The 10 photos of H. assulta in Matthew's Heliothine Moths, plate 11, all show a dark double submarginal band on the each forewing, which is rather attenuated on this specimen. I think this specimen is closer to A. rubescens, which seems seldom to be reddish !
