I accidently dislodged a small rock. Replaced it after taking these photos, but a couple of the larvae look larger than the ants themselves. A good comparison in size in the 4th photo.

Hi Alison, these are likely to be Iridomyrmex bicknelli. The very large larvae are queens. Cheers, Jon
