This is sterile mycelium, yet to develop any sporing structure - and hence it's not possible to guess at an ID. This sort of growth is common in leaf litter, under dark or wood - and does have a superficial resemblance to the similar growths that you find extending from the margins of various species of Phanerochaete etc.
