In the centre of each image is a lone male Carpenter bee which was sighted in ANBG's Section 219, patrolling a large bush at high speed for about a minute before moving on. No females were seen during this time. These are quite poor quality images taken at some distance with a telephoto lens of a very fast moving bee passing in and out of light and shade. The sighting is provided to add to the distribution record of this endangered species.
