This jumping spider was on the hand-rail at the ANBG. We sent the images to Dr Barry Richardson (CSIRO) who recently described this species. He said that of the 3 species of Servaea in our region, narraweena is distinctive because of the black stripe on the abdomen and cephalothorax.
A terrific find Roger. I've tried to create "Servaea narraweena" but I'm pretty new to moderating and with the system being in transition, I'm not sure whether it worked. I hope someone with more experience can help.
