User's notes
Huge swarming numbers. The workers were about 5 mm in length, the alate females about 12 mm. Alate males similar in size to the worker females but slightly more slender, with small male heads. They were coming from several nest holes at the base of brick garden walls and swarming all over the walls and letter box. Very bitey as well! Didn't like having their photographs taken.
