User's notes

Two gliders separately in trees about 15 metres apart on the c Russell track. I was only able to get my camera to take one image that included a glider. I would describe the glider as probably more brown than grey in colour, I would say both gliders were probably over at least a foot long. Most definitely both were gliders as I witnessed them glide between trees.

A glider of approximately that size on Red Hill would be a Sugar Glider, Petaurus breviceps. Without the location, from the photos alone it could be any of several species.

Great to know! I was really unsure about sizings from a quick google it seemed like there were a few things it could have been but I had a feeling sugar glider might be the most common here. I just wish I could have got a more definitive image. Thankfully the context made it possible for you to make a pretty confident identification.
