User's notes

I've never encountered more than 2 flycatchers in close proximity to each other before. Today I encountered at least 5 mixed in with a range of other birds including striated pardalotes, grey fantails, silver eyes, yellow rumped thorn bills, one as yet unidentified bird. Due to being focused on getting clear photos I'm sure there are a few species I missed. As far as I saw there were no confirmed male fly catchers with the group.

Post breeding season, small birds will form large 'mixed feeding flocks'. Flycatchers will often join them for a short period before they depart on their migration.
