It appears the wavy line across the wings may be quite indisctinct in some specimens.

Aglaopus centiginosa has also been recorded in the ACT. It has a darker and has a more angular termen in both wings, and the dark medial line varies from thick to absent in both. A. centiginosa is smaller on the average (max 25cm apex to apex), but the size ranges overlap, as do the background colours. It's tempting to think the outward bend in the termen of the fw in this photo matches A. centiginosa better, but it may be an artefact of the forewing not being held flat.

In case you are worrying or wondering it is absolutely fine to load images to both Canberra Nature Map and INaturalist - as the two platforms both feed the Atlas of Living Australia - which has a program for detecting and removing duplicates.
