Good photos again, Tim. This ant is relatively common, but it is very similar to Rhytidoponera metallica and is mainly differentiated by the fact that it is plain brown with absolutely no metallic sheen. Usually it is hard to be sure from a photo that there is no metallic sheen, but the number of photos you provided and the many angles you took provided enough evidence to make the ID. So, a new species added to the CNM list! Cheers, Jon
