Hi Christine
I notice you often put in sightings and just choose "Insect" as a category. You would get a quicker response from moderators if you specified the sub-category, in this case a bee. Then an email would be sent to our moderator for bees, Michael Batley, and he would be able to ID it immediately. The same applies with moths, butterflies etc.

Hi Michael, thanks for that. Generally I think I can tell a butterfly from a moth, and do usually specify that. But I am still far from comfortable picking bees, wasps and other insects. These were so small, I am quite surprised that they are bees. I still have so much to learn, and appreciate the moderators time and expertise in identifying these interesting little creatures.
