User's notes

Private property. No public access without permission. Juvenile? I contemplated Bassian Thrush from the shape but the colour is too dark. Very shy bird. Eastern rosella in the third photo for size comparison.

Hi, my thought is Bassian Thrush. I will send image to others for their thoughts. Chris

This is actually a juvenile or immature Eurasian Blackbird.

This is my dilemma! I remember that I took the photo because it seemed to be a very unusual looking bird for our area; one that I hadn't seen before. It didn't make a lot of noise and didn't hang around for long; hence the crappy photos. We don't get many Blackbirds here either.

Now confirmed by others that it is a young Blackbird so happy to give it a tick.
