Have added 2 more photos showing the plant and the name tag of "Lomatia silaifolia".
Only had time for one pic and it was off.

Thanks for the extra information. This is a new flower record for the MGCB. Do you remember which section the Lomatia was in. I have a map of the gardens with plant genus and section numbers. Keep up the good work and observations.

We just have the visitor's guide map and the area is marked as "PROTEACEAE", the shrub was near Banksia's in flower next to the main path, there were quite a few New Holland Honeyeaters that we were watching and just noticed something in the white flowers nearby. There were also European honey bees and ants in the "Lomatia silaifolia". Thanks for your encouragement always have to keep a watch never know what you may see. Hope this info help.
I just moved the marker on the map again as it must have moved to where we were taking photos when I added the new pics of the bush. So it should show the right side the bush is on.
