Facial markings shorter than H. euxanthus & less yellow colouring on legs.

It does not looks like H. euxanthus, but it could be either H. amiculus or H. amiculinus.

H. amiculus only found further south, according to ALA. Also, from what I can see from the H. amiculus images, H. amiculinus has (1) yellow face colouring not extending as far beyond the antennae (maybe) (2) yellow on the tibia knee (3) different terga pattern on the metasoma. No male available to check for a spine under the abdomen.

You are probably right. There is one record from Coonabarabran, but mostly I have seen amiculus in Victoria and SA. The images of the female amiculus in PaDIL may be misleading. The metasoma is contracted and hence not typical and the specimen has much less colour on the hind tibia than typical specimens.
