Seven-day lockdown for the ACT

Please note that for any of our contributors in the ACT, there is a lockdown that came into effect from 5:00pm today, 12 August 2021, for 7 days.

One restriction that we would like to point out is that Nature Reserves are closed to the public for the duration of the lockdown.  Whilst we value all the wonderful sightings we get from you that are taken in our fantastic nature reserves, during the lockdown it is only essential staff that are allowed to continue work in these locations and that may contribute sightings.

We look forward to any of your sightings from closer to home during the next week, and we hope all of our fantastic Canberra Nature Map community stay safe.

Please visit the ACT Government COVID-19 page for all the details of the lockdown: https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/home
