According to Michael Mulvaney, this sedge is currently only known from two locations in the ACT. All recent reports are on Canberra Nature Map. Prior to these reports Trim Flat Sedge was last recorded in the ACT in 1965 from a park in Reid.

User's notes

An elegant sedge, up to about 50cm tall. Growing in a rocky drainage line, in a place that is boggy after good rain. The area is open and sunny, and surrounded by African Lovegrass.
