I'd like to see a close up of the fronds before endorsing this ID. C.(austro)tenuifolia has fine lacy fronds rather than shorter cured up ones.

Aaron any chance to go back and take close ups? I'm reluctant to enter C.(austro)tenuifolia on our species list at this stage. To my knowledge the species has so far not been recorded on Mt Majura; this would be the first record.

It's not clear to me that what we called "Cheilanthes tenuifolia" is different from C. austrotenuifolia. I think it was a reassignment exercise. So recordings of C. tenuifolia should be C. austrotenuifolia. I have seen numerous nice C. tenuifolia/austrotenuifolia specimens in the pine plantation on Mt Majura (back in the late 1970s.)

Hi
the Census Version 4.0, 2017 lists Cheilanthes austrotenuifolia only; perhaps the species name has changed from tenuifolia to austrotenuifolia?

That's what I was thinking.
