Hard to tell if this is L. elongatus without images of the scales surrounding the flowerhead and a close up of the leaves. ID based on length of flowering stem and location.
Thanks Meredith I looked at this and thought that Leptorhynchos elongatus was the most likely but was a little hesitant as it is a reasonably rare species in the Canberra Area
Personally, I think Leptorhynchos sp is a better ID. I reckon this looks more like L.squamatus, (particularly given the marked height of the plant), but we can't really tell.
