Surprised to see this skink out today - about 12 deg and sunny. It was still under a big boulder, but where some sun was shining - I guess the North side of the boulder.
A good record from Mt Taylor. Yes unusual to be out in winter - some small skinks seem to do that if weather a bit warmer and they are able to retreat easily back into their winter refuge
