I just stuffed up putting it in. Very definitely a little eagle. In the same area where I last sighted it a couple of months ago. It was circling very lazy slow circles (I assumed it had found prey or something) initially while my camera was not at all ready. Then a couple of minutes later it was being terrorised by a range of birds trying to drive it away namely magpies and crows.

Cameron - do you think it is the same bird?

I think so. The colouration is the same it seems to be the same size and the location was almost exactly the same as my last sighting.

Ahh how do you know it's a female? It was taken at 4:19. I first sighted her at 4:10 approximately

I think it is the Black Mountain female who used to spend most of winter on Red Hill, but I am only guessing
