Arrived here at 7.35am. At 8am the gang gang pair flew in to a nearby tree. At 8.05am the female flew to the tree and entered the hollow, and I could hear young being fed. At 8.15am the female emerged and sat at the entrance until 8.20am when she went back into the hollow and I could hear young being fed again.
At 8.40am the male flew to the hollow calling softly. The female merged and the male entered the hollow through a back entrance that I hadn't seen them use before. The female flew off. I could hear young being fed again.

They seem to be ok with the heat - they seem to choose hollows in the thick part of trunk that would be reasonably well insulated. The ANBG also has numerous water sources which may be one reason why the hollow was selected.
