User's notes

This would have previously been called Uromycladium tepperianum which has now been split into 16 new species plus Uromycladium tepperianum sensu stricto. Microscopically these 17 species pretty much all look the same, in that they refer to species of Uromycladium that produce three teliospores per pedicel and form galls on their hosts. The microscope images present here show pedicellate teliospores and detached teliospores. The species in this group are separated based on the host they occur on. See: Doungsa-ard, C.; McTaggart, A.R.; Geering, A.D.W.; Shivas, R.G. (2018) Diversity of gall-forming rusts (Uromycladium, Pucciniales) on Acacia in Australia, Persoonia Volume 40, June 2018, pp. 221-238. Uromycladium murphyi is known to occur on Acacia dealbata (as in this example), A. decurrens, A. elata, A. mearnsii, A. penninervis and A. rubida.
